Old Faithful: The Rose Bowl Flea Market

After last week’s trip to the Melrose Trading Post, the Rose Bowl Flea Market seemed much larger and overwhelming than usual. That being said, I’ve never left the Rose Bowl empty-handed and today was no different. We scored some great finds so the trip to Pasadena was well worth it.

Our first purchase was a set of four shabby chic chairs from Urban decor (space 8029 at the flea market) for only $120 to go with our lovely kitchen table. Such a steal and a great set that perfectly matched what we had in mind.

This mirror was a nice piece to top off our new dresser and help pull together our bedroom that is coming along nicely. At first, the boy didn’t understand that mirrors go above dressers, but with a call to my mom we got him to concede. We just need some new bedding and curtains and the room will be an ideal retreat after a long day.

The boy collects matchbooks and I’ve saved all my old my movie ticket stubs since 2002. I thought these vintage candy jars would be a nice way to display our respective collections in the office/guest room.

I may never use it but it's so darn cute!

I’ve seen these cow creamers around and always thought they were adorable. Even though I don’t drink coffee and have no need for creamer it was a fun buy (plus it’s from France!). Progress made in furnishing the new place!
